The Boker Plus Papillon Trainer reproduces the construction of a genuine Balisong knife, but is equipped with a blunt dummy blade for training purposes. Like the original, this model features skeletonized stainless steel half handles with a beadblast matte finish. Also known as a butterfly knife, the Balisong owes its name to its simple folding mechanism via the split handle, which is less susceptible to dirt than other mechanisms. The Trainer's dummy blade, in 420 steel, also boasts a matte stonewash finish. The dummy blade, slightly rounded at the edges, features generous hollows to clearly differentiate it from sharpened blades and to balance the weight of the original Balisong. The pronounced ricasso underlines the tactical character of this training tool. Comes with a high-quality nylon sheath for storage.
