The Boker Plus Papillon Trainer reproduces the construction of a genuine Balisong knife, but is equipped with a blunt dummy blade for training. Like the original, this model features skeletonized stainless steel half-handles with a matte beadblast finish. Also known as a butterfly knife, the Balisong owes its name to its simple folding mechanism via the split handle, less sensitive to dirt than other mechanisms. The Trainer's dummy blade, made of 420 steel, also benefits from a matte stonewash finish. The fake blade, slightly rounded at the edges, features generous cutouts to clearly differentiate it from sharpened blades and to balance the weight of the original Balisong. The pronounced ricasso emphasizes the tactical character of the training tool. Comes with a high-quality nylon sheath for storage.
