In terms of design, the sword and katana seem to have points of similarity. However, they differ in many aspects. Let's focus on these differences.

The katana: reflecting the finesse of Japanese art

Of all the edged weapons that the market can offer, the Japanese sword remains the most refined in the range. Its exceptional quality is associated with its sharp blade, style, and presence. The sword also comes in a wide range of models to suit all uses. In this perspective, the katana is among the most appreciated, as it tells a unique story that has crossed epochs.

In terms of design, the katana is known for its slightly curved shape and its length which can exceed 60 cm. It is also characterized by two main parts: the blade and the handle. The metallic part of the katana, unlike that of the sword, is made of forged iron and has only one sharp edge.
