Honey Badger Medium Crossbolt Tanto black folding knife

Honey Badger Medium Crossbolt Tanto black folding knife

The Honey Badger Medium Crossbolt Tanto black folding knife belongs to Honey Badger’s Crossbolt line, designed for users seeking a reliable, compact cutting tool that is ready for everyday use. Honey Badger has established itself in the quality folding-knife market by offering sturdy blades, carefully designed opening mechanisms, and refined finishes at accessible prices.

This model’s Medium size strikes a deliberate balance between portability and functionality: compact enough to fit comfortably in a pocket, yet large enough for demanding cutting tasks. This mid-sized format is valued for outdoor use—hiking, camping, and light hunting—as well as everyday hands-on tasks that call for a sturdy, sharp tool.

The Tanto blade is one of this knife’s defining features. This Japanese-derived geometry has a reinforced tip and a cutting edge formed by two straight segments. In practical terms, the tip withstands piercing forces better than drop-point or clip-point blades, making it a useful choice when tip strength matters as much as cutting performance along the full edge.

The Crossbolt system locks the blade open. Operated by a crossbar button running through the handle, this mechanism holds the blade firmly during use and releases intuitively so the knife can be closed safely. The black finish on the blade and handle gives the knife an understated, discreet look while reducing unwanted reflections outdoors.

Its Medium size makes this a versatile folding knife, suited to a wide range of situations without sacrificing ease of handling. Honey Badger’s design prioritizes a stable grip, with a handle that stays secure even in demanding conditions.
