Fixed blade knife Morakniv Eldris pastel blue blade length 59 mm pastel blue polymer handle

A fixed blade knife is admired by its users because of its versatile nature. While other types of knives are generally limited in their capabilities, a good fixed blade knife is capable of performing a multitude of tasks, from wood carving to striking steel with fire, to food processing. Fixed blade knives will always be a better choice, depending on what you think the day has in store for you. You can pair them with rougher outdoor work, such as skinning a deer, digging, splitting and preparing food.
A fixed blade knife will never surprise you when using it, as it is a solid piece of steel anchored to the handle. For those who want a blade they truly trust for tough jobs, such as field preparation and camping tasks, a fixed blade is the solution.
