Designed in honor of the German marine rescuers who operate in the North and Baltic Seas, the Boker Plus Seenotretter 01 is a knife built for the toughest conditions. Its main blade in 1.4116 steel is equipped with a half-wave to cut through fouled ropes and harnesses, while its sail pick also includes cap openers and a bottle opener. Both blades are held together by a sturdy, dirt-resistant slipjoint. For added durability, domed rivets are used instead of screws. The front plate features the Hanseatic Cross, the well-known emblem of the German Maritime Search and Rescue Service (DGzRS). A deep-carry clip facilitates carrying. A large rope eyelet protects against loss. For each knife sold, Boker donates 5 euros to the DGzRS rescue organization.
