Boker Applegate Fairbairn Combat II fixed blade knife
The various versions of the Boker Applegate-Fairbairn knife have been recognized by special forces worldwide for years and have established themselves as an icon of tactical knives. Inspired by the famous Fairbairn-Sykes dagger from World War II, this knife was designed by Colonel Rex Applegate, an elite soldier who coordinated covert operations in Europe during the war and served as personal bodyguard to Franklin D. Roosevelt. As a trainer of Allied Special Forces in close combat, he founded the school for spies and assassins at the site of present-day Camp David. After the war, he continued to work as a consultant and trainer, wrote numerous books on close combat, and developed this perfect combat knife. The fiberglass-reinforced Delrin handle with integrated stainless steel weights ensures a firm grip, while the brass guard and 440C blade are ready to meet any challenge.
